There are a lot of SEO strategies you will find on the internet. A lot of short-cuts on how to rank higher on Google, but short-cuts often lead to short term goals. 

However, I'm going to talk about a long term strategy that will definately help you the most, no matter what your business is. "Content Marketing" - is the strategy that will take a little longer for you to see results from. But once you have embedded it deep into your SEO strategy, it's profits soon out weigh the effort to maintain it.

SEO quake (Browser plugin): We have it on at the bottom of my browser windows all the time. It shows me stats for every page on the internet.
 
Google Keep: We use Google Keep, but you can use any app that helps you keep a track of appointments, ideas and tasks all in one place.
 
Majestic SEO: This tool tracks our websites and shows us which keywords our website is getting traffic for. Competitor research tools help track our competitor’s website and keywords.
